Description
Position Purpose
At Saint Francis Hospital the inpatient Oncology Unit provides care to patients with solid tumor cancers, hematologic cancers, and benign hematologic conditions. We also provide care to medical/surgical patients. We provide hospice and end of life services.

✅ Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and throughput
✅ Support performance management and regulatory compliance
✅ Promote evidence-based practices and clinical excellence
✅ Foster a healing, inclusive, and respectful environment

✅ Build trusting relationships and model compassionate communication

Saint Francis Hospital has been an anchor institution in Connecticut since 1897. Saint Francis, a member of Trinity Health Of New England and Trinity Health, one of the largest multi-institutional Catholic health care delivery systems in the nation. Saint Francis Hospital, a Level 1 Trauma Center, is a 617 bed hospital and a major teaching hospital. Other Saint Francis entities include the Comprehensive Women’s Health Center, the Connecticut Joint Replacement Institute, and the Smilow Cancer Hospital.

Required
What You’ll Need
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current RN license in Connecticut
- BSN from an accredited school of nursing
- MSN degree
- Leadership experience or relevant certifications
- 40 hours Days – Full-time
